Excalibur explains how to drive sales at the meat case

In a recent article for Supermarket Perimeter magazine, John Brewer, Excalibur’s vice president of sales & marketing, talks about the company’s growing role in helping grocers and retail processors overcome the “intimidation factor” of the meat case.

According to Brewer, it’s critical to provide the consumer with nearby visual cues (ie: seasonings) to get them thinking about how they could ultimately prepare a meal for their family. Stocking the right flavors close to their potential protein pairings helps break down that initial barrier to purchase.
