Excalibur Holds 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off

Excalibur employees were in for a tasty treat at the company’s second annual chili cook off event.

More than 45 Excalibur employees came to work ready to eat – and eat they did – during the festivities. The cook off helped raise $225 for the United Way and featured 10 competing varieties of original chili concoctions. It also filled the bellies of some grateful team members on a cold February day.

First place went to Excalibur’s Tom Shrier, and though Tom is keeping his now award-winning recipe close to his vest, we are pretty positive he used one of the company’s own famous chili seasonings for added flavor.

Believe it or not, plans for the popular event are already underway for 2019! Runner-up, Paul Fuller, is  said to be plotting his revenge with what is sure to be a crowd-pleasing hit.
