Excalibur Named 2026 F.W. Witt Supplier of the Year

Excalibur Seasoning is proud to announce it has been named the 2026 F.W. Witt Supplier of the Year, presented by the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) during the association’s annual convention held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, July 9 – 12.

One of AAMP’s highest honors, the award recognizes supplier members who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to serving the meat and poultry industry, particularly small and medium-sized processors. It is named after Frank Witt, a former seasonings company owner who was well known for his dedication to helping small meat processors succeed.

“I was taken aback when it was announced that we had been awarded the F.W. Witt Supplier of the Year,” said Mike Shrier, Excalibur president & CEO. “My thoughts immediately went to our founder, Jerry Hall. July 8 would have been his 92nd birthday, and I can think of no recognition he would have valued more.”

This year’s recognition marks the third time Excalibur has received this honor, highlighting the company’s enduring support of independent meat processors and the relationships that have defined its success.

“I know how much AAMP meant to Jerry,” Shrier added. “Receiving this award is not only an honor for our company, but also a meaningful recognition of the values and legacy he instilled in us.”

Throughout its forty-year history, Excalibur has maintained strong ties with AAMP and its members, advancing educational opportunities, industry events, and initiatives that help processors grow and thrive in an increasingly competitive marketplace. The company’s focus on customer service, product quality, and partnership has made it a trusted resource for meat processors across the country.

“We are honored to be recognized by an organization that has been such an important part of our industry’s success,” Shrier said. “This award reflects the dedication of our team, the loyalty of our customers, and the strong partnerships we’ve built over the years. Most importantly, it reinforces our commitment to serving the independent meat processors who are at the heart of our business.”
